Transat Chair in Tourism

By its presence in the industry for over 20 years, its numerous publications, conferences and means of sharing information by intelligence networks, the UQAM Transat Chair in Tourism represents for tourism stakeholders a favoured source of information. The research and events organized by the Transat Chair in Tourism offers learning opportunities for students and university graduates alike.

Canadian research Chair on Urban Heritage

The Canadian Research Chair on Urban Heritage was established in June 2001 at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM).  Affiliated to the department of Urban Studies and Tourism it became part of the Faculty of Management. The Chair’s research program aims to grasp the structural and historical aspect of heritage (all processes and mechanisms that contribute to the creation of heritage and its integration in our collective identity), and renew the theories and practices related to theses two aspects of heritage.

Téoros is a peer reviewed research journal published by UQAM since 1982. It deals with subjects related to tourism such as tourism management, tourist behaviours, the development of the tourism industry, and certain case studies.
